Join our open data citizen science movement and support a global effort to map plastic pollution! Debris Tracker allows anyone - from non-profit
organizations and school groups to passionate citizen scientists - to record the location of an item of litter. Our app is a user-friendly way to engage with the marine
debris issue by recording the litter around you, asking questions about why it's there, and exploring our online open data platform where over 1.5 million items have been
tracked to date. As we gather data with your help, scientists can statistically analyze millions of opportunistic data points to better understand how plastic moves
through the environment, from land to sea. Together, we can create a bigger picture of debris and plastic pollution through open data, generating scientific findings,
informing policy, and inspiring upstream design. We're building a global database of plastic litter to inform solutions - one item at a time!
