HeartTrack will enable you to monitor your heart rate using a Bluetooth heart rate monitor. Supported Heart Rate monitors include the Zephyr HRM BT monitor. Which uses classic Bluetooth and supports Speed and Distance as well as Heart Rate data. You must first pair with the Zephyr before first using the HeartTrack app. Any other Heart Rate monitor which supports Bluetooth Smart technology and the Heart Rate Profile will also work. Though Speed and Distance are not supported with these devices. Features: 1- Support for classic and Bluetooth Smart devices 2- Sliding Range Guides to allow you define a heart rate target range that is easily seen when in use. 3- Graphic display of your low, high, and current average heart rate. The low value is the lowest value received while a connection is active to the device. This will be zero if you are not wearing the device before you launch the app. The high value is the highest value received during the session. The average value is determined by taking the average from the last 15 readings, which are typically sent once a second. 4- Animated Beating Heart background. Which can be disabled. 5- Sliding connect/settings toolbar which can be slid out of view when exercising. Use: 1- If using the Zephyr monitor, ensure that you have paired with it before launching HeartTrack. You should also be wearing the device before launching to prevent the low value showing as zero. 2- If using a Bluetooth Smart monitor, no pairing is required. 3- Launch the HeartTrack app and touch the screen to show the sliding toolbar. 4- Press the connect heart button. This will bring up a dialog that shows all of the paired devices, and will also start a scan for any Bluetooth Smart devices nearby that support the Heart Rate Profile. 5- Click on your device when it is shown in the connect dialog. 6- HeartTrack will initiate a connection and start showing the heart rate data. 7- Touch the screen again to slide the toolbar out of view. 8- You can slide the range pointers up or down to define a target heart rate range. This allows you to see at a glance if you are in your target range from a distance.
